Ben is a Senior Associate in the Employment team.
He has extensive experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law and acts for both employers and employees. His clients have included senior executives and SMEs through to listed companies in a range of sectors, including entertainment, pharmaceutical, recruitment, technology and IT, construction and manufacturing.
Ben has a particular interest and expertise in resolving workplace disputes and provides support at all stages from investigations through to claims representation.
Ben’s specialist practice includes:
- providing HR support and training;
- advising on employee exits, including under settlement agreements;
- claims representation, acting for both employers and employees, including in claims for: discrimination, whistleblowing, breach of contract (including disputes related to post-termination restrictions and confidentiality) and unfair and wrongful dismissal. His discrimination experience is extensive and varied.
- providing employment support in mergers and acquisitions;
- advising on TUPE and providing representation in related claims;
- investigating and assisting with disciplinary matters and grievances;
- advising on plans for reorganisation or redundancy;
- advising on Data Subject Access Requests; and
- advising on contracts for senior employees and executives.
